OVERVIEW:

After receiving the physical part from client, measurements were taken in order to convert the part into a 3D SolidWorks part file.  Part had to be accurate, including the gear teeth so it could be directly produced off of the model.  This SolidWorks part was provided directly to the client for CNC machining of the finalized part at his shop.  The purpose of the mechanical part was to act as a slowing down mechanism in an industrial printing press.
