OVERVIEW:
For the Belt Sander project, we reverse engineered the parts from photo references provided by the client in a word file. The motor was a downloaded file. After a few e-mail discussions with the client, the design was revised and finalized. The final design was rendered by client request for the sales catalog.
DRAFTING + DETAILING:
SolidWorks 2D Drafting and Detailing stage implemented BOM cut list information, over-all assembly dimensions, and specific part information as well. Sub-assemblies included weld detailing and basic tolerances. Part drawings includes folded and flat views, along with iso views and a balloon identification number.
