P-0022, P-0023, P-0027

OVERVIEW:

The initial Prototype had already been installed on the production floor in multiple places.  No Formal documentation existed of most recent design.

P-0022:

Existing Housing part PDF copies were incomplete, and there was a total reliance on single production staff for the parts to be machined according to known spec. We took the 1987 hand-sketched drawing and converted it to a multi-part complex surfacing model for casting and machining purposes. Discussion with the client about updates required to the assembly and drawing took place during multiple Skype online meetings. Final casted and machined drawings of the housing were provided to the client for supplier quoting purposes.

P-0023:

The P-0022 Housing was technically part of a larger assembly consisting of shafts, gears, and bearings. The assembly went through a few revisions as the existing documentation contained incorrect info.

P-0027:

The Motor and Axle shaft that is part of the Housing Assembly went through a further revision as per client direction. Updated Assembly Drawings were provided for completeness and clarity of the entire product line which enabled a reduction in production costs and greater outsourcing.
