OVERVIEW:

The design was highly centralized and there was no way to out-source, as no updated documentation was available. A copy of the existing hand written production notes were used as a basis to create the Sheet Metal and Weldment Designs in SolidWorks. The design between all the parts was then tweaked for better assembly upon client consultation, and provided photo’s.

DRAFTING + DETAILING:

Final Part and Assembly Drawings were detailed and included a BOM, part and assembly dims, along with weld and machining info.
