OVERVIEW:

Client was investing a new design, and had to ensure that it met Standards for ‘ABS Europe Division’ Approval in England for a ship sailing in the ocean. The original model was simplified to account for welds, nuts, bolts, sliders etc. The Assembly was finalized based on insight gained from the studies. Ultimately, reports were submitted to detail overall stresses and strains given a few worse case scenarios, including total deflection.
